Most of the universities IELTS is not mandatory. But may require in some top universities IELTS - 6

• Student Permit for less than 3 months (90 days)

            Students from countries which are eligible for visa-free entry of up to 90 days, can take a course without obtaining a student visa (as long as the duration of the course is  shorter than 90 days).

• Short-term Student Visa visa for between 3 and 6 months

               The Short-Term Student Visa allows students to take a course which lasts a    maximum of 180 days,this type of visa and any short-courses offered by colleges and universities.

• Long-term Student Visa for more than 6 months

                   Long-Term Student Visas allow students to take courses which are longer than  6 months, students have to apply for a student residence card at an immigration office within a month after arriving.For this type of visa the application involves more paperwork than the short-term visas. Applicants need to provide a medical certificate and a certificate of no criminal conviction.

Fall and Summer are the two main intakes in Spain. (Feb & Oct)

• Many universities and colleges provide student resident halls (Colegios Mayores) or student apartments on campus
• Studio apartment rentals or extended stay hotels are available for monthly to yearly renting, but are comparatively expensive.  
• Leasing apartments, flats or townhouses either solo or with roommates

• Doing internships, paid or unpaid, could lead to potential full time employment is a good option for international students.
• Part time jobs are not allowed.
• On completion of studies you can apply for a work permit and a residence visa if you wish to work in the country.
• Knowledge of Spanish may be a prerequisite to gain employment in many organizations, so you will have to simultaneously to work becoming proficient in Spanish
• After graduation, non-EU students can apply for a student residence permit for a year, during which time they can search for a job or start their own business.
