The Republic of Moldova is a land locked state in Eastern Europe, located between Romania to the west and Ukraine to the north,east and south. It is at the intersection of commercial, cultural and tourist routes, joinig the West and East, the North and the South .It is a country with an interesting and eventful history. Until 1991 Moldova was one of the republics of the former Soviet Union. After becoming an independent state Moldova has joined the other democratic countries and established relations with other them.
